Got Bits is a solvable problem, but we would recommend that you start it extremely early in your timer, and work on other problems in the meantime. Don’t spend too much effort on it unless you have solved the other problems.

After some investigation, we’ve decided that some issues with the problem “Decider” have rendered it unfeasible to solve for the majority of competitors. As some team’s timers have ended, the problem will be retracted entirely in the interest of fairness (there were zero solves for the problem). We will be refunding points to those who took “The Gamble” shortly.

All the information necessary to solve the problem has been provided in the problem description and linked file. There have been successful solves. If you think you need extra information, we unfortunately cannot provide that, so you’ll have to look for yourself. Thank you!
